Hints for the Seven Commandments in Genesis
Genesis 2 : 16-17
“Then the L-rd G-d commanded concerning the man by saying, ‘You will certainly eat from every tree in the garden.’”

People in the generations from Adam and Eve until Noah did not eat meat. Therefore, they had only six commandments —
the L-rd
no blasphemy
G-d
establish law courts and pursue justice
commanded
no idol worship
concerning the man
no murder
by saying
no illicit sexual activity
you will certainly eat from every tree in the garden
“but not from anything stolen” – no theft
“Then the L-rd / G-d / commanded / concerning the man / by saying, / ‘You will certainly eat from every tree in the garden.’”
